Your preliminary research on the novel will not be completed
And you will likely need to do more research once the actual writing process begins. Getting rid of it now will help kick start the creative process and make the writing process smoother. If you’ve given your character a job you don’t know much about or are writing about a place you’ve never been to, you may need to do some research before you start writing.
Take the time to get to know your characters and protagonist well before you start writing so you can better plan your romance according to their style of acting. Developing your story-line involves knowing what genre you want to write in. Or even using a list of writing tips to get your thoughts moving.
Start with a concept, then create a premise, create a profile of your character
Decide where you want to take your readers in the story. Decide which scenes you would like to include in your book. Sketch out the outline of your novel, all the way down to creating a story cover and book title. Determining the beginning, middle, and ending will help you create a novel with a good story, rich plot. And will also help you build tension and help you write the best version of your novel—like a first draft. In truth, there is no one-size-fits-all road map for writing a novel. But use these ideas as a springboard and you’ll soon be on your way through the process of writing a novel.
